The Pakistan American Foundation has announced its summer program to appoint its fellows who would be working with National Rural Support Program (NRSP) Pakistan.
The APF Fellows Program is for U.S. based students and professionals who are committed to creating positive socioeconomic change in Pakistan. Need based partial and full scholarships are available.
APF Fellows serve the Rural Support Program Network (RSPN), the largest development network in Pakistan, which is comprised of eleven Rural Support Programmes (RSPs). These programs espouse a common approach to rural development: social mobilization centered on the belief that impoverished people have the innate potential to help themselves by better managing their limited resources if they organize and are provided with social, technical, and financial support.
APF Fellows will be placed at the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), which works with over 3.4 million poor households organized into a network of 216,873 community organizations.
